I'm using the latest UMS 6.7.4 via my PC (Windows 10, Intel G4560/3.5 GHz, 8GB RAM) to my Panasonic ST50 Plasma TV on a Wired 100 m/b connection. On the mkv container I can enable internal subtitles on my TV when not transcoding, but I can't with external srt subs. I suspect the problem is that A/V goes out of sync, which causes the skipping, because I tried the same files with the older PS3 Media Server, and though it doesn't skip, the A/V goes out of sync after a short while. Tried different renderers (MEncoder, AviSynth, VLC) with little succes. Tried transcoding without subtitles, to see if it was a subtitle problem, but to no avail. No problems without transcoding, but then I can't use subtitles which I prefer, as my english is good but not great. It does this continually every few minutes throughout the length of the movie. Some of the media/movie files (H.264 in MP4, MKV), is 'skipping' after a short time when i transcode using the FFMPEG renderer.
